Binatone Terrain 550 4.8V 600mAh Walkie Talkie Battery. The Binatone Terrain 550 personal mobile radio or PMR is also refered to as as walklie talkie or a two way radio. The Binatone Terrain 550 batteries are quite unusual in their design as they have 4 terminals. One set of two terminals to power the Binatone walkie talkie and another set to allow the Binatone Terrain 550 handsets to be charged in the charging base.
The Binatone Terrain 550 replacement battery packs are made up of 4 AAA 600mAh rechargeable NiMH batteries making 4.8V. Give your Binatone Terrain 550 walkie talkies a new lease of life, by replacing old batteries with new ones you can improve the performance levels back to the levels you used to get when the walkie talkies were new.
Caution: Please note there are several batteries that look very similar to these so please only use these batteries in the Binatone Terrain 550 models. Please note these batteries do NOT fit the Terrain 650 or MR250. Replace the batteries carefully, refer to you user guide for correct instructions. Incorrect positioning when replacing the batteries can damage both the batteries and the walkie talkie. When you have replaced the Binatone Terrain 550 PMR batteries please ensure the battery compartment cover is securely locked in place before you place the walkie talkie back in the charger. The recommended initial charging time for new batteries is 14 hours. Subsequent charging times should be around 10 hours.
