Returns Policy

We have a very simple, fair and no fuss returns and refund policy. Although all our products are from quality world renowned manufacturers, we understand that faults do occur. All our products are covered by a minimum 12 month manufacturers guarantee. However some products have a longer 2 or even 3 year guarantee. Please check individual items for details. You may wish to return goods for other reasons, so please follow the guidelines below. If you are in any doubt please give us a call.

URGENT INFORMATION - Following new legislation implemented by Royal Mail on the 15th July 2013, any items being returned to Buyabattery must be returned in a jiffy bag (please re-use the original if possible) and the senders name and address must be clearly visible on the outside. Items that are deemed as suspicious by Royal Mail will be destroyed and we will be unable to issue any refund which may be applicable. The return of lithium batteries is prohibited by Royal Mail and these must be returned to us using another suitable method.

If you change your mind
If you change your mind and no longer want the items ordered you need to notify us within 14 days and then you have a further 14 days to return the goods to us. They must be returned unopened in their original packaging, complete with instructions and all additional items or accessories in an unused and re-saleable condition. Please contact us for a returns reference number which should be clearly written on the outside of the box or packaging to enable us to track your returns. Items should be returned by obtaining proof of postage or using a recorded delivery method requiring a signature for valuable items as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit. Upon receipt of the returned items, we will refund the cost of the item. Please note we cannot refund any postage or delivery charge in this instance. Items returned to us without a returns number will not be accepted by us and will be returned to the customer.If an item is delivered by courier and it is rejected, any fees charged by the courier for returning the item to us will be deducted from any refund.

Items incorrectly sent by BuyaBattery
Should you receive items which have been despatched incorrectly you will need to notify us within 14 days. Please contact us for a returns reference number which should be clearly written on the outside of the box or packaging to enable us to track your returns and record the amount of postage so that this can be refunded to you. We recommend that items should be returned using a recorded delivery method requiring a signature as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit. Upon receipt of the incorrect items, we will dispatch the correct items free of charge. Items returned to us without a returns number will not be accepted by us and will be returned to the customer.

Items incorrectly ordered by customer

Items received damaged
Should you receive items in a damaged condition, you will need to notify us straight away or within 48 hours of receipt. They must be returned with their original packaging, complete with instructions and all additional items or accessories. Items should be returned by obtaining proof of postage or using a recorded delivery method requiring a signature for valuable items as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit. Upon receipt of the damaged items, we will despatch the replacement items free of charge. Items returned to us without a returns number will not be accepted by us and will be returned to the customer.

Returning faulty items
Should your item develop a fault within the warranty period, you need to return it to us. Please contact us for a returns reference number which should be clearly written on the outside of the box or packaging to enable us to track your returns. Items should be returned by obtaining proof of postage or using a recorded delivery method requiring a signature for valuable items as we cannot be liable for items lost in transit. Faulty items will either be repaired or replaced under the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty. Items returned to us without a returns number will not be accepted by us and will be returned to the customer.

Items not received

Notification of any order not received by the customer should be made to us no later than 7 days after the dispatch date or sooner if possible. We may not be able to re-send or refund payment for items not received if we are notified after this time.

Return Postage

We do not pay for return postage.  It is the responsibility of the customer to affix the correct postage to any item returned to us.  If we have to collect items from the sorting office and pay a surcharge we reserve the right to deduct this from any refund made to the customer.
