batteries to new NiMH
(Nickel Metal Hydride)

light batteries with 0%
cadmium. Although the
old NiCd batteries are still
manufactured in some
parts of the world, we are
no longer allowed to sell
them in the UK. So we
offer the new
rechargeable NiMH solar
light batteries. These are
the best batteries for
outdoor solar lights. We
have three sizes available,
AA, AAA and 2/3AA batteries,
so first select your size.
In AA we have two types
available
1.2V 600mAh or 1.2V
1300mAh. This mAh
capacity rating is the
amount
of energy each battery
can
store. We recommend
you
replace your batteries
with the capacity nearest
to the ones you take out
of your solar lights. For
example, if you take out
old NiCd AA 1.2V 600mAh
replace them with the
new NiMH AA 1.2V
600mAh
