A new range of Rechargeable 1.5V Li-Ion AAA batteries with built in USB-C port and charging cable.

These new rechargeable AAA batteries from Ansmann are unique and not to be confused with ordinary rechargeable batteries. These Ansmann rechargeable AAA batteries are 1.5V Li-Ion (normal rechargeables are 1.2V NiMH). They have a built in USB-C port. Lastly and most importantly they are only charged up using the USB-C charging cable supplied with the batteries. No additional chargers are needed.

Easy to Charge

Simply connect charging lead into the batteries and connect to a USB power source (or a mains socket using an adaptor). An LED on the positive end of the battery flashes when the battery is charging and goes solid when the batterieas are fully charged.

Safe to use

The Ansmann USB-C 1.5V Li-ion rechargeable AAA batteries have internal safety electronics that protects against overcharging, short circuit and deep discharge. However these batteries can not be charged in a normal NiMH battery charger. They are only charged using the USB-C charging cable supplied.

Performance

The new Li-Ion rechargeable batteries can be used to replace normal alkaline 1.5v batteries. Great for use in most everyday devices like wireless mouse, wireless keyboard, remote controls, game controllers, kitchen appliances. They should not be used in equipment that charges through a cradle like cordless phones. The AAA version has a capaity of 500mAh which is lower than Alkaline batteries, however the batteries can be recharged up to 1500 times. They benefit from low self discharge which means they will keep 80% of their charge after 12 months of storage. They are also ready to use straight from the pack. Ansmann Li-Ion rechargeable AAA 1.5V batteries come with a 2 Year Warranty.
